Antique Sacred Heart Crewel EmbroideryOne of the more unusual sacred heart embroideries Ive come across, this beautiful vintage crewelwork is one of my favorite Brimfield finds. It dates to around the 30s 40s & is presented in its original frame. Refer to photos for size and condition: Some faint damp stains around the edges but otherwise very good.

It’s an Italian suit and the “JJ” refers to Jupiter and Juno

but sadly the museum closed in 2003 and the dioramas were sold individually at Bonham’s

but Moderno carved this exquisite sculpture of her that I think we can all agree is much nicer to look at than a corpse

Condition is good overall with one small hairline crack on one vase
