Mangbetu Pot 03Our collection of vintage Mangbetu pots have been hand crafted by the Mangbetu people of the Congo. Each pot tells the story of their maker with the unique designs, making them one of a kind pieces for your home. These pots would have been used for a variety of tasks from cooking to storage. Whilst each pot has been carefully restored, due to the gentle nature of ceramics and as vintage pieces, the pots may still have natural imperfections.

These Ngontang masks come from the Fang people of Gabon and are hand-carved from indigenous wood

due the artisanal process and delicate nature of the bowl

They originate from the Marka people of Mali and are traditionally used in ceremonies dedicated to fishing and farming

The bowls have been lovingly repaired with traditional techniques in keeping with their original authenticity
