8750 Class - 9600 - BR Lined Black Early Emblem - DCC Sound Fitted9600 was the first loco from lot 352, which completed at Swindon in Feb of 1945. An engine that didnt have to travel far to its first allocation of Swindon shed! It moved to Bristol SPM (82B) in 1961 before moving on to South Wales. Withdrawn from Ebbw Junction (86B) and was withdrawn in September 1965. Luckily it was purchased by the national coal board and moved to Merthyr Vale Colliery where it would work until 1973.
