On intial inspection the bottles have a uniformed fill level at base neck

The mouth is initially very silky but gives way to some mouth watering acidity and firm tannins

The fresh and savoury flavours balance perfectly with bittersweet Indian tonic water

Very much a cloud rather than a rapier on the nose - hedonistic and ripe with masses of sweetness almost masking a rigorous corset of tannins

An 8 year old matured in first fill Sherry Butt this is beautifully rich with milk chocolate raisins and marzipan fruits
