They LOOK like downhill skis from the early 60s, but when acquired in Norway (near Bergen) they were waxed for an outing in the forest. They could be both! The Lommedalen Skifabrikk was the creation of Narve Bonna, 1924 Olympic silver medalist in ski jumping. Lommedalen is close to Oslo, a bit to the left of Holmenkollen. Birger Ruud was a champion ski jumper and alpine skier, with
