In 1988 Grisales graduated at the International School of Violinmaking in Cremona, and following this attended a course organized by the Regione Lombardia" where he received a diploma in bowmaking. His professional training was completed when he graduated at the Civic School of Violinmaking in Milan for musical instrument restoration.
