The floral specimens are placed flat on the light sensitive paper and exposed to sunlight resulting in a handmade photograph of ethereal quality.

Disused navigational charts (in this case charting water off the Isle of Wight in in the Solent) are used to illuminate the sky with a dash of red acrylic to highlight the lone sailor
