Barassie Station and Waiting Room
Description
Barassie Station and Waiting RoomBarassie Station was unusual in that it lay perpendicular to the platform edge. It was located at the V between the main Glasgow to Ayr line and the Kilmarnock to Ayr line. The timber building survived until the 1980s and its structure shows common features with several stations in the GSWR region. The kit includes the station and a waiting shed. Thanks are given to the GSWR Association and Ian Middleditch for their assistance in developing this kit.
