DNO 870 Wakahuia TikiWakahuia made from renewable timbers from sustainably managed forests and New Zealand Paua. Wakahuia and papahou are terms applied to a class of wooden containers that are designed to hold treasured personal adornments, such as amulets, breast and ear pendants, and combs and bird feathers worn in the hair. Made from wood they were usually elaborately carved. They are more commonly referred to as Mori treasure boxes. Measurements: (L) 210mm x (W) 90mm
