Antique Trinket or Jewelry Box Japanese with Painting on Top Lid Asian Oriental Lacquer Ware Hand Painted OriginalThis is a lovely antique Japanese box from the late 1800's early 1900's. It has an original art painting of 3 Japanese figures on the top lid. One of these figures is a Geisha girl. This box measures 3 3 4 inches in length, 2 1 2 inches in width and 1 1 8 inches in height. It is in very good condition for it's age.

It measures 6 cm in diameter and 3 cm in height

It has not been cleaned but I have another listed here on Etsy that has been recently polished and looks gorgeous so have a look at that one as well

It has copper metal links as hinges so the top lid does not get seperated

I think it may be made of satin wood

The handles are a coral pink bakelite and the blades are silver plated

It is made of brass metal that has been hand etched / engraved and hand painted with enamel paint

It is made of spelter metal with a black bakelite base

This is a beautiful original antique Edwardian perpetual calendar from 1908

It has blue and red enamel flower designs on the sides

It is quite heavy for its size and is very well made
