Vintage French Landscape Oil Painting on Board in Frame 1930 Original ArtThis is a very sweet original vintage landscape oil painting from 1930. It is painted onto canvas board. It comes framed in it's original black lacquer and wood frame. Including the frame, it measures 12 3 4 inches in width and 9 3 4 inches in height. The frame does not have a glass covering. It is signed by the artist on the bottom right corner but it is very faint and hard to make out the signature so I am not sure who it was painted by. It is in

It has a slide top opening lid so I am not sure if this was meant for candles

It is a hardcover book and measures 7 3/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches

It is quite large for a candle box

It has been professionally framed and matted and this measures 12 inches in height and 10 1/2 inches in width

It is in very good condition for it's age

It has some light crazing due to age but I think this only adds character

It would be lovely to frame and hang on a wall

There is some glue residue under the cameo from years ago

It has a repaired crack on the top as photographed but it is not really noticeable

It has a pierrot clown and ballerina on the top
