We can't guarantee germination since we have never grown this cross out but we have inspected all pods and they have obviously viable looking embryos. Nepenthes seeds are best sown on a layer of milled sphagnum moss or well leached coco peat above a more traditional Nepenthes mix. They should be kept in a moderately well lit area (50 100 ppfd). The seeds need to be kept wet and humid in the 60 80 temperature

The upper pitchers have colorful striping on the peristomes and are infundibular shaped

Plants are still young but display much of the red coloration and squat pitcher shape from the ampullaria parent

It can be grown in a wide variety of conditions and succeeds in home settings including sunny windowsills and terrariums

They tend to produce plum coloration as they open and then fade to purple/black as they age

The form sold here is seed grown from a horticultural cross in Thailand

Both parents tend to pass along their signature qualities to their hybrids so how these will turn out is anyone's guess
