3rd Gen 4Runner/1st Gen Tacoma Battery Hold DownThis battery hold down replaces the cheap factory sheet metal hold down. All parts are machined here in my shop out of 6061 T6 Aluminum. They are then coated with a Mil Spec Type II Black Anodize. All metric Zinc plated hardware will stay clean and shiny for years to come. These are designed to fit flat top 24F batteries in both 1st Gen Tacoma's and 3rd Gen 4Runners. It will also fit Group 27 batteries. NOTE: This is for flat top style batteries only!

The factory Toyota hatch struts are bushed with a nylon bearing on both ends

by itself (meaning

Each bracket also comes with plastic nylon washers to maintain a snug fit

while the lower uses a bronze bushing (does not rotate that much)

Will not fit batteries with caps

With a watertight lid
