i bought this necklace in 2008 in the gem markets in Yangon Burma from a Nepali friend named Oh my God who sourced them for me when he found i liked antique beads

All stones have minor inclusions when viewed closely

This is a beautiful crystal

5 cm high crystal is wonderfully terminated and a true museum specimen only rarely do sapphire crystals of this quality come onto the market

Each bead is made by grinding down ostrich egg shell
