It has a banner style backrest that is slightly tilted and curved. However, it is the braided canework seat with its unique double leg assembly that gives it the famed boxed look.

Design PJ-SI-42A is also known as the “Advocate & Press Chair” and was unsurprisingly widely seen at the high court in Chandigarh circa 1955-56
