2024 Lalela “Heritage White”, Western Cape, South AfricaABOUT THE WINE This wine is a blend of 75% Chenin Blanc and 25% Smillon from the Western Cape. The Chenin comes from a singlevineyard parcel in the Breedekloof region, the Smillon from a vineyard in the Hemel en Aarde Ridge appellation. Handharvested, the Chenin was wholebunch pressed and settled overnight in stainless steel before being racked to barrel. The Smillon underwent a 10day skinfermentation in opentop fermenters before pressing and barrel
